Wells, it is clear to Me that "the country of the blind" actually refers to HELL inside Earth and that Nunez is in fact God. I find the story quite realistic but also very funny (to Me). However, I disagree completely with the idea that God "fell in love" with the girl Medina-sarote - wishful thinking on her part.
